Two blogs about a whole lot of nothing

Oh, Bromley. No.

Good Lord. When will people realise that 99% of the time, QR codes seem like a good idea, but rarely are. A bit like that last pint, or that time you squirted lighter fluid on your hand to do the old British Gas ad, and then set your hand on fire.

The code takes you to Betfair's site (who are sponsoring the lads to do it), but God only knows how they expect anyone to actually scan these things. They're just going to look daft, and even more daft when it starts to grown out.

They should have paid more attention to the interweb and checked this out first. Should I Use a QR Code?

Thanks to Return on Digital for this.

Movember

Can girls take part? I think next year I might grow one. I'm not sure how yet - I'm glad to say that I am not a girl with one of those natural woman-taches. Maybe I'll draw it on every day, or just purchase many different sizes and work my way up to a really big bushy one. By gum, I think I might give it a go. Anyway, until then, here are some ads for Movember.

The first two are from 2009, the last, which takes quite a different approach, from 2011. All are pretty funny.

Movember

I always get a bit jealous of men around November because of Movember. I want to be able to grow a nice tache and sport it proudly down the pub, supermarket, and train station. I'd fiddle with the ends constantly (if I had one with pointy ends). However, being of the fine haired variety, my tache would probably be rather pathetic. Regardless of that, being a female of the species means that I will have to make do with writing my bra size or some other crap in my Facebook status.

Grow your taches, boys. Grow 'em proud.
