I finally managed to track down a quote from what turned out to be Frasier. I had convinced myself that I heard it on Spin City. Maybe I did...I vividly remember Paul saying it, but when I found it, the script had it as an exchange between Frasier and Kenny, which I also remember happening. It's a funny thing, your brain.

Anyway, here it is:

Frasier: Kenny, there's no such thing as a healthy superstition.
Kenny: Oh yeah? What do you call washing your hands after you go to the bathroom?
