You probably know Wes Naman from his Scotch Tape series. People wanted more, he says, so he gave them rubber bands.

The Ugly Truth

Photographer Rut Mackel manages to capture the moment when face-meets-window in this series of photos, although of course, that's not what it's all about.

Rut says that "this project explores the ugliness and the beauty that exists within each of us. By drastically transforming faces from aesthetically attractive to unpleasant appearance I wanted to challenge our perception of aesthetic appearance."

For me, it's the latest series to add to the sellotape series and the wind machine series.
